Patch Notes - 1.4.10 - Mega Stability Fix Patch



Hi everyone,


I'm pleased to announce that I've just pushed an update to the game for both PC and Mac players that should fix a number of issues with both performance and save-games -- including a major texture leak bug that would cause the game to crash at random intervals.

I hope everyone is able to enjoy the game now, and I'm sorry it took so long to fix things!

CHANGES:

- Updated world pivot so that zooming always occurs in the center of the screen.
- Removed old camera "easing". Replaced with improved smoothing and input is now carried over multiple frames.
- Added support for diagonal navigation.
- Reworked the grid and improved interactivity for better alignment with mouse position when selecting things and placing buildings.
- Rebalanced competing kingdoms to earn money and perform tasks more slowly.
- Reduced scaling on kingdom expansion cost and capped it at 50000.
- Adjusted difficulty modifier.
- Updated some text descriptions.
- Updated Mac build to run on newer MacOS versions

SUPPLY & DEMAND - (Currently Steam Users Only)

- Increased food output of farm.
- Increased capacity of most storage buildings.
- Decreased base cost of supplies in trading menu.
- Increased base sale price of supplies in trading menu.
- Decreased base cost of item levels in marketplace.
- Increased base sale price of items in marketplace.
- Supply buy sell cost now scales with difficulty mode.
- Increased base kingdom storage.
- Level up button is now disabled if requirements are not met.
- Made progress towards requirements for level up clearer - Met requirements now show up in gold.


FIXES:

- Fixed multiple texture memory leaks causing the game to crash at unknown intervals.
- Fixed issue where a hero would go missing on load if the game was saved when they were on their way to a recovery building.
- Fixed multiple save-game bugs resulting in black-screen when loading a save.
- Fixed kingdom expansions not getting added to the player's final score.
- Fixed hero social score not restoring properly if it reaches zero.
- Fixed hero stats not getting saved (or loaded) properly.
- Fixed AI Buildings getting added to player kingdom on load.
- Additional save-game fixes.
- Various other miscellaneous performance and memory optimizations.

1.4.10a [Hotfix]
- Fixed incorrect indexing of resource limit requirement for levelling up.
- Fixed an issue breaking the game when reaching max kingdom level.

Most save games from previous versions should now work, but if for whatever reason they don't please try starting a new game.
